My involvement in the chess community extends beyond lessons and personal accomplishments. By hosting tournaments both online and in person, I’ve enabled students to test their understanding of this ancient and royal game.
Students have had opportunities to build memories and compete in schools, libraries, and recreation centers. Through these events, I’ve aimed to foster community, encourage friendly competition, and support the growth of chess in our local areas.
